‘Gladiator’ Joshua heavier than Dubois at weigh-in

Anthony Joshua weighed in heavier than Daniel Dubois ahead of their heavyweight clash at the O2 Arena on Saturday night.

Joshua, the IBF, WBA and WBO champion, weighed in at 11st 9lbs 2oz, while Dubois, the British, Commonwealth and European champion, came in at 11st 8lbs 9oz.

It is the first time that Joshua has weighed in heavier than his opponent since his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in September 2021.

Joshua is looking to bounce back from that defeat and regain his world titles, while Dubois is looking to make a statement and become the youngest British heavyweight champion in history.

The fight is expected to be a close and competitive contest, with both fighters having their own strengths and weaknesses.
